Our Passion

International Kids Community（IKC）is a "company-led model nursery school" founded and administered by MENTECWORLD CO.,LTD.
IKC was opened in 2019 with the support of the local community, with the aim of the healthy growth of children in the community and supporting women who work while raising children.
Children at IKC have the opportunity to learn four languages through picture books, music, and physical activities like rhythmics.
We aim for the growth of internationally-minded children.We also hope to provide parents with a safe and secure environment and children with an exciting and fun learning environment.

About the Company-led model nursery school

Children eligible for entering our nursery school:
from 57days old to the age before entering elementary school When both parents or guardians work for more than 64 hours a month at average or approved under the article 20 of child-Rearing Support Act, we can offer our service. Because we are a Company-led model nursery school, we put priority on the parents guardians working for our alliance partners to those working for other companies. It means that we accept more children from the former than the latter. It is based on our rule (the Cabinet office’s rule) and there are 2 categories for accepting, the alliance partners’ children and other locals’ children.

Our Policy

Message to Children: We aim to foster children’s ability to enjoy making new discoveries, as well as to promote their mental and physical health.
Message to Local people: People and nature are our first priority. We hope to nurture children together with the local community.
Message to Local Companies: We aim to create an ideal learning environment for children by introducing language training in more than four languages, thereby hoping to introduce them to multiculturalism.

Extended day care service hours / 18:30-20:30 ＊School will be closed earlier if there is no demand for extended service.
＊Extended day care service is not available on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.
＊School will be closed during Golden Week holidays, New Year holidays, as well as year-end.
Capacity: Maximum 60 children

Application Information

Monthly Tuition and Fees	Ages	Rate
	0-year-old*Free childcare	40,000 yen/month*2,900 yen/month
	1 and 2-year-olds*Free childcare	40,000 yen/month*3,000 yen/month
	3-year-olds*Free childcare	35,000 yen/month*8,400yen(including a fee for side dishes, curriculum and events)
	4-year-olds and older*Free childcare	35,000 yen/month*11,900yen(including a fee for side dishes, curriculum and events)

*Free childcare are applicable to children aged 3 to 5 who certified for the necessity of nursery care, and to children aged 0 to 2 from households exempt from residential tax who also certified for the necessity of nursery care.
*A minimum of 16 days of attendance per month is required for those who are registered for our service on a monthly basis.
*We cannot extend our day care service beyond the opening hours.
*The monthly fees cover the cost for lunch, refreshments, formula for infants, diapers, leased bedding and a correspondence notebook for parents. (An extra 300 yen will be charged for an evening meal.)

*On top of the above-mentioned, there may occur incidental fees to cover transportation expenses for out-of-school activities, as well as photographs of the children taken at various activities. The exact amount will be quoted each time such an expense occurs.

with Languages

Because IKC is an international nursery school, we make sure to provide children with opportunities to study and play with foreign languages.
We hope to tell them the fun of learning languages during early childhood and aim for the growth of internationally-minded children.

School lunch

Our nutritionists carefully prepare balanced school lunches. Children learn the importance of proper tableware usage, the act of eating and food education.

A Day at IKC

7:30 Children’s coming We check children’s health condition every morning when they arrive.
Please feel free to consult with us if you have any cause for concern for your child’s health.

9:00 Morning greetings

A Cheerful ‘Good Morning’:
The day starts by exchanging greetings when all members are present.
9:30 Snack time (0, 1 and 2-year-old)

Morning snack time for children aged 0 to 2 years old.
11:00 Lunch time 0-year-old～

Everyone will be ready for a good meal after a good play!
‘Yummy’ meals will be prepared by
our special cooking team, who are happy to meet various needs of children with allergies. Please feel free to consult us.
12:30 Afternoon nap

Children will take a good rest and get ready for afternoon activities.
15:00 Refreshment time

Refreshments, like snacks, will be made by the cooking team on the premises. Children will learn not only proper table manners but also the importance of enjoying meals.
16:30 Going home

Children will have additional time to play together while waiting for their parents to pick them up.
18:30 Extended hours for childcare（18:30～20:30）

No need to worry, even if parents have to work long hours or are out of town! (for extended hours, please refer to our brochure.) A light meal will be provided.
